Grapes In honor of the 4th most planted grape in the world (500,000 acres and growing!), we are gearing up to celebrate the 2nd annual International Tempranillo Day on November 8th. Offering velvety texture and smooth flavors, balanced alcohol and acidity, Rioja Tempranillo is arguably the most famous in the world. We are excited to celebrate this fun day dedicated to our favorite little grape.

In collaboration with TAPAS (Tempranillo Advocates Producers and Amigos Society), we are kicking off #TempranilloDay with tastings around the country and a virtual TweetChat (8 pm EST), followed by a month-long Facebook sweepstakes where you can enter to win an all-expense paid trip to Rioja (see below for more details)! Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse Wine, Tapas & Art at Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse in NYC
Working with long-time partner Landry's Group, Vibrant Rioja presented an elegant evening of wine, art, culture and gastronomy at the new Vic & Anthony's in New York City's Union Square on October 11. Featuring a book signing by The Wine Region of Rioja author Ana Fabiano, an eye popping exhibition of paintings by Rioja artist Luis Burgos and a stellar wine lineup from Beronia, El Coto, Muga, Dinastia Vivanco and Bodegas Riojanas, among others, the crowd was treated to a complete Riojan cultural immersion.

Boheme Event Rioja Supper Clubbers
Supper Clubbers in Orlando gathered in The Boheme in the elegant Grand Bohemian hotel in downtown Orlando for a night of wine, food and art. Guest of honor, painter Luis Burgos, spoke at the reception in the hotel's art gallery, and throughout the night guests tasted 11 Rioja wines paired with hors d'oeuvres and a five-course meal prepared by Chef Rene Nyfeler.

Great Match Event Rioja at Spain's Great Match
Last month in NYC and Portland, OR, Vibrant Rioja sampled dozens of Riojas at the 19th Annual Great Match, the most comprehensive tasting of Spanish wines in the country. Hundreds of wine lovers sipped Riojas and sampled a variety of Spanish bites late into the evening.
